Eleven companies, including Spaleck GmbH & Co KG, founded the “Energy Efficiency Network” in the Borken district in May.
The aim of this initiative is to save even more energy and reduce emissions by 2020. To this end, the participating companies are now formulating an energy-saving target that they want to achieve together. All participants in the energy efficiency network already have experience in implementing joint energy-saving and environmental protection targets. The companies are all members of the “Ökoprofit Club”, which emerged from the Ökoprofit project. Spaleck has been committed to greater energy efficiency and the sustainable use of resources since 2013.
The newly founded energy efficiency network is supported by the Borken district and the Borken district economic development agency (WFG). The nationwide campaign was initiated by the German government with the aim of establishing 500 energy efficiency networks of companies by 2020.
