In February 2026, we provided financial support for the purchase of two “climate kits” for the Rhede Comprehensive School.
The kits developed by Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich allow users to directly experience complex atmospheric processes and the scientific principles behind climate change. This allows young people to experiment on their own, formulate hypotheses, analyze measurement data, and understand scientific concepts. This is particularly helpful in clearly explaining abstract phenomena such as the greenhouse effect, the albedo effect, or ocean acidification.
With our donation of €1,500, we hope to inspire young people to get involved in climate protection and sustainability at an early age. After all, those who don’t just learn about global interconnections in theory, but explore them for themselves, develop a genuine awareness of the challenges we’ll face in the future.

Sustainability is a team effort for us. In our sustainability circle, employees and trainees develop their own projects – from optimizing waste separation to nature conservation measures such as creating flowering meadows on the factory premises. We also promote regional biodiversity through long-standing partnerships, for example with the Borken district association NABU.
Our products enable the circular economy and the energy transition. Our screening machines and conveyor systems are in use worldwide to keep valuable raw materials in the recycling loop. At the same time, as a supplier, we produce high-precision components for the wind power industry. We see our engineering expertise as a catalyst for a resource-efficient industry.
We rely on external validation rather than mere promises. SPALECK is regularly assessed by EcoVadis and currently holds a Silver rating, making us one of the best companies in our industry. We have also been voluntarily publishing sustainability reports in accordance with international standards (GRI) since 2013 in order to transparently document our progress on environmental and social issues.
