NRW Minister of Economic Affairs Duin visits SPALECK TestCenter
Structural change, innovation & sustainability in the focus of Regionale 2016
On Thursday, NRW Minister of Economic Affairs Garrelt Duin visited Bocholt as a business location. The occasion was the “Regionale 2016”, a structural development program of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which has initiated more than 40 projects in Westmünsterland since 2010 under the motto “ZukunftsLAND”.
The minister engaged in intensive discussions with economic development agencies, politicians and company representatives. The main topics were the innovative capacity, structural change and future prospects of Westmünsterland.
Together, the delegation visited Grunewald and SPALECK, two flagship companies in Bocholt that are now setting standards in their global markets with environmentally friendly technologies.
At the end of the visit, the topics of structural change, innovation and future viability that had been discussed were once again made tangible and experienced with all the senses: the delegation witnessed a screening test of Municipal solid waste at the SPALECK TestCenter. The Conveying & Separation Technology TestCenter offers customers and interested parties the opportunity to test and optimize their applications in raw material recovery and recycling. This enables users to significantly improve their recovery of recyclable materials.
Innovation made in Bocholt – in the ZukunftsLAND of the Regionale 2016.
