This year, we are expanding our Spaleck Sustainability Report to include the UN Global Compact for the first time. This “Global Pact of the United Nations” is concluded between companies and the UN in order to make the ongoing globalization more social and ecological.
Founded in 1869 and now in the 5th generation of family ownership, sustainability and corporate responsibility have always been an obligation and a matter of course for us. We pay attention to acting conscientiously towards all stakeholders – worldwide.
We have therefore decided to base our sustainability report on the UN Global Compact in addition to ISO 26000. At the same time, we support the ten principles of the pact, which can be divided into the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment and climate as well as corruption prevention. We live our sustainability strategy.
With the UN Global Compact, we are also committed to underpinning our sustainability report with detailed measures relating to the ten principles.
