Your Apprenticeship at SPALECK
Would you like to understand how an industrial company operates from a perspective of efficiency? During your apprenticeship at SPALECK, you’ll learn about the processes involved—from purchasing to production to global sales. With us, theory becomes practice: You’ll help us calculate order costs, coordinate deadlines, and ensure the commercial success of our projects.
As a trainee in industrial business administration, you’ll learn how to effectively manage the business processes within our company to ensure maximum efficiency. During your apprenticeship, you’ll rotate through all relevant departments—from purchasing and production planning to financial accounting and marketing, all the way to sales and customer service. In this role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between our customers and suppliers and help ensure that our international projects run smoothly from a business perspective.
Here’s what you can expect during your training
At SPALECK, you’ll be an integral part of our team right from the start. We value you take on responsibility and actively participate in our processes. By rotating through different departments on a regular basis, you’ll gain a comprehensive overview of the company and learn about our three core areas— metal processing, precision parts, and Conveying & separation technology —in detail. Your range of responsibilities is as diverse as our technology: You’ll place orders independently, prepare quotes for our customers, and handle professional invoice verification.
If you combine business acumen with an interest in technology and enjoy organizing complex processes to ensure the success of our projects around the world, you’ll be a perfect fit for our team.
If you have any questions about jobs, training, internships or studies, our colleagues in Human Resources will be happy to help you.
By earning your certification as an industrial business administrator, you’ll lay the perfect foundation for your career—and that’s when the real fun begins!
We believe in lifelong learning and are always committed to supporting your professional development. We’ll work together to decide which path to take, based on your strengths and goals. Almost anything is possible:
Part-time or dual degree program: If you want to continue combining theory and practice while earning your bachelor’s degree.
Specialized continuing education programs: For example, certifications such as “Fachwirt” or “Betriebswirt” (IHK) to delve deeper into a specific field.
Specialized Seminars & Courses: To prepare you for the future in your specific area of responsibility.
It’s especially important to us that, after you graduate, you have a job that you enjoy and that plays to your strengths. That’s why our approach is: We focus on the department of your choice!
During your two-year training program, you’ll gain experience in many different departments (such as purchasing, sales, human resources, or finance), and you’ll be the best judge of where your passion lies. When it comes time to discuss your permanent position, we’ll sit down together and do our best to place you in the department of your choice.
If there happens to be no opening there, we’ll find a suitable position in a department where there are also exciting tasks to tackle and where you can fully apply your knowledge.
It’s simple: We want to get you ready for your career—without wasting any time!
Since you have an Abitur or a vocational Abitur, you already meet the ideal academic requirements to shorten the apprenticeship program right away. We plan for this accelerated program from the very beginning, so that instead of the usual 3 years, you’ll have your Industrial Business Administrator certification in hand after just 2 years.
